Just bought these: Take a look at the on on the far right. The other two I already have, but this one is an issue I haven't seen before. Can't make it out which one it actually is and it was wrongly numbered on the auction, but seeing as I have issue 5-1, 5-2 and 5-3, it must be 5-4, 5-5 or 5-6 which don't pop up that often.

Just got these two beauties in: Issue 2 and 3 of N64 magazine from the UK, which were still missing from the set. Turned out to be very expensive as it came to over €30 shipping included, but quickly looking through them that's easily forgotten. They are in minty mint condition and the articles inside look like a lot of fun to read through. Huge coverage on WaveRace 64, Blast Corps and Starfox 64 to name a few. I have a feeling that I'm gonna break out my Japanese N64 this afternoon to play some Waverace for sure.

Great buy there ... the N64 mag preservation scene is pretty much non-existent so really looking forward to seeing these online at some stage in the future ... hopefully the near future [j/k]

It is sad that for the many fans out there that like the N64 for one reason or another, that more people aren't able, or willing, to scan and release N64 magazines.

I hear you.
I have trawled my local auction site religously looking for N64 mags .... only ever seen 1 mag .... not 1 collection of mags .... 1 solitary mag. Geez!!!

I have that one issue of NGamer that is yours if you want it. Just give me some time to get shipping saved up and I will shoot it to you. Someone as dedicated to the system as you are, deserves to have it (it covers mainly N64 but there is some SNES and Gameboy stuff too).

Hey .... the offer is fabulous but I'd just be happy if it was online at some point for everyone to grab. I just find it stunning that there are none online anywhere which is amazing considering all the old Commodore stuff floating around. Then again .... my RISC User's are non-existant online too. Must get some more up between the Amiga World's and Newsfield mags

I will see if I can work it in somewhere (it is one of those nebulous issues, December 1999/January 2000). Looking through my magazines, I found some other #1 issues I wasn't aware of having. See, stuff does come back from "the black hole". lol

Yeah, that is what I was thinking and also, that is the general consensus so far. Unfortunately it will be a debind issue to get a decent scan (the inside area only has a 1/4" to maybe a 1/2" margin and is perfect bound.

Damn!! I hate that. I loathe debinding but have to admit for some issues I have started doing it. The Amiga Worlds are one ... some of my issues the spines are iffy anyway and so I thought I may as well get the best scans possible anyway. Might have to do that for one or two issues of Zzap64 too as they have the glued flat edge spines too

I know. Sometimes there just doesn't seem to be another way if you want to go for quality. I had to debind my Maximum issues, which hurt more than I care to put into words, especially since they were a gift from Richard Leadbetter. Damn.

Especially when they may have been in good condition and could have been resold to recoup some of the insane amounts of money we've spent trying to accomodate this thing we call a "hobby" eh .....

I have no personal attachment to the NGamer #1 other than it was given to me for free when I frequented the local EB store in the mall (they would give me the previous months magazines rather than throw them out like they were supposed to do).

Well, we just secured another near complete run of a certain Sega magazine from the UK. More details along with a couple of pics will be posted once they arrive safely.

It's finally time to reveal which magazine we were talking about since they just arrived thanks to Air-Nreive. It's the near complete set of Paragon's Sega UK magazine: Sega Pro. Sorry about the somewhat blurry pictures, but the magazines are still wrapped in their protective coating and as many of you know, I prefer to keep them that way until I can start working on them to make sure to keep them in the best condition as possible.

After the huge haul of 50 Sega Pro magazines that we picked up from ebay last week, we already have received another set of Paragon magazines. This time we have to thank pelago's generosity for this awesome contribution.
