Wow thanks, so many obscure Dreamcast magazines, and one that only had 2 issues total?

Wonder why these guys weren't sucessful? Probrably cause it was overcrowded with DC mags, and they couldn't compete with so many others.

Also didn't know about them. I also own a dcm:

For such a small country, England got more magazines than North America did, very impressive.

Missed a couple of posts here these past 2 days it seems. Wink

I am not very into with horror movies, especially the ghost horror types.  Cheesy  I think its because of the fact that it "could" be true sometimes (the way I feel it)  Shocked

Once I saw this one on MTV (phone), you probably know this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKfiFW8bxbA&feature=related#ws

That's why I actually like them so much. it's one of the few things that can still freak me out, especially when i'm alone watching it.  Grin
Phone is quite good, but I prefer Takashi Miike's One Missed Call:

Again, please don't go for the American remake...

meppi, dit you ever had contact with a (ex) copyright holder, for example dc-uk? Or did you ever had a complaint or positive respond from a publisher?

We got into contact with both Hugh Gollner and Roger Kean.
Who gave us permission to release magazines from the Maverick Magazines and Newsfield Publications catalogue. Smiley

We are busy working with another publisher in getting a certain set of magazines digitized as well, but not specifically for the site.
We've also been in contact with another big publishing house who couldn't help us at this time with official permission or anything like that, but at least the door is open for discussion.

The only negative encounter we've had was over Gamefan, which we can't put online even if we'd want to.
At least not at this point in time. You never know if something changes with time. Wink

Låt den rätte komma in, is one of the best vampire movies I have ever seen!

Oh, and wow thanks for the detailed information, I like Japanese culture a little, it is beautiful, and so are the girls. China and Korea are especialy beautiful, and I am eating some Chinese food as we speak lol, mongolian beef and orange chicken with fried rice.  Grin

Indeed. It's very far removed from the norm, but that's what makes it so good.
I wish the genre would have evolved from that instead of focussing on the wussy Twilight stuff. ;P

I love Chinese food, but then again, I love Thai, Japanese, Korean, indian, Mexican, Italian, heck I could go on forever.
But I could eat asian food every single day. Easily.

Just read your essay on Asian culture, and loved it.

Me, I find myself interested in that culture very much, to the point that I really want to take a trip to Japan as soon as money & time allows it. And if money really allows it, I'm taking you meppi. After all, I haven't even started getting famiiar with the language, so you'll definately be making my moneys worth anyways. Besides, I have no one lese to talk to about videogames either, besides brother, and definately no one to talk to about Saturn & Saturn gaming. I have yet to meet a non-casual gamer in real life. Really sucks if you ask me.

But yeah, Japanese culture really interests me on so many levels. Plus I'm familar with what it's like to speak in another language and be part of another culture. It's like being in alternate dimension of the same world, only better (I'm 1/4 Romanian, born in Romania & came to Canada at the age of 10. Still know language after a refresh trip there in 1998 + when I was there I went to German school, only I need a major refresh of that lnaguage & culture... so I need to visit on of many relatives there too). So yeah, for me to experience Asian culture first hand is a must (more than Germany or Romania).

Hehe thanks. Smiley

Not sure if I'd be able to help you in a meaningful way though. My understanding of Japanese is still in it's infancy and since I don't have the time to keep studying it, it's not moving along at all.
I can understand a couple of things and can read a bit, but a lot of the time, I still would have to look up the actual meaning.

The best way to actually learn the language would be to pack up and move there for a couple of years, but like I said before, I'd have to win the lottery first. Wink

Oh and I just downloaded the last rar from DC-UK.
Don't have a lot of time to work in them today since I have to leave for work in under an hour, but I'm planning on finishing it up over the weekend at least. Smiley

Talking about Dreamcast magazines, 3style donated a box of a dozen or so magazines which have arrived today. Smiley

Only if you want me to dump them online without any effort, which as you know isn't my style. Wink

He did what!?  Shocked Wow, thank you SO, so much man. This means a lot to me everybody. Now we know there will be others, and it is so awesome of him to donate them for the common good!

I hope to 1 day, have all of the DC mags on a .CBZ reader on Dreamcast. Somebody has a Comic book reader for hacked psp's, so I thought it would be great to have them on a disc readable by DC's with the ported code. Wish somebody would try and port one over, this would be great to have digitaly archived on disc's for the future.
