Now this is what I call a wrestling match:

Wasn't Stan Hansen a wrestler in WWE for awhile in some stupid stereotypical "redneck" tag team?
He wouldn't have been given a 5 minute match in any US promotion let alone a 25 minute run of awesomeness that he apparently can put on (this has happened with others like Hulk Hogan and Van Vader when they wrestled in Japanese promotions, it is like night and day compared to how they wrestle state side).
I blame big promotions like WWE and the fall of WCW for this sad situation we find American wrestling fans having to endure for the last 10 years or so. Fans have shown that they are more interested in seeing someone like Hulk Hogan do the same three moves in a match than watching someone that can actually wrestle. Don't believe me? Watch some old wrestling shows with guys like Dean Malinko or, get over it he screwed up in the end, Chris Benoit and listen to the "crowd pop" for them compared to Hulk Hogan or some of the other "stars" of the promotion at the time.
If we want better wrestling on TV, quit supporting the crap they keep feeding fans. Plain and simple.

I have no idea if he ever worked for the WWF, but it wouldn't surprise me. I only know him from All Japan Pro Wrestling featuring Virtua on the Sega Saturn as well as the Giant Gram games on the Dreamcast.
Had no idea he had these kinds of matches in him until I watched this. Really blown away.
The problem is that the wrestling fans don't even know what they want or don't know what makes a good match to begin with. On the last months TNA PPV Brian Kendrick and Robbie E had a very good match that started of with great technical mat wrestling, yet the idiots at ringside started shouting "this is boring, clap, clap, clap clap clap". As a longtime wrestling fan that actually offended me. :-/
The crowds at the impact zone have always annoyed me to no end, from the bunch of idiots that wanted to save TNA from HH and Eric, to the vegetables that don't move an inch during even the greatest matches. I often wonder what the point is of showing up to an event like that, if your only reason for being there is to look as bored as possible and create an atmosphere of death and despair with the zombies around you.
Really sad state of affairs all around.

I know for a fact that most of the people in the area directly across from the main camera, are paid to be there. Those are Universal Orlando employees that are supposed to make the event "look" interesting and entertaining. I think they either need to stop this practice of "padding" the crowd (baseball and other sports do it too, this is nothing new, unfortunately), or just let people sit where they want and roll the dice, surely they will get a better set of "fans" in that area eventually.

Whatever it is, it's certainly making the product look even worse than it is.
