I have a large collection of Nintendo Magazine System, Super Play up to about issue 40 including the special gold issue. They're all quite well preserved, and I would be glad to send them off to anyone who is scanning them up for OoPA. They can be debound, because if I have digital copies I no longer need to hoard the old paper ones.

I'll check back here in a while. Also, I don't see any mention in the FAQ of using torrents to distribute files - that is certainly the best means of reducing hosting costs, and they could run parallel to the premium hosts.

Hello, and first of welcome to the site. Smiley

The hosting costs when it comes to the magazines themselves is taken care of as we have a "lifelong" premium account with file sonic now. So we won't have to keep paying a yearly fee anymore.

As for the magazines you are offering to donate, I do have to say that I have a huuuuge backlog already, so I can't promise to start working on them right away. And as you might have noticed, I take a bit too long on individual magazines to get the digital versions just right, up to a point where it's impossible for me to finish a single issue on a weekly basis.
That being said though, high quality copies of NMS certainly are welcome as they could use a re-scanning and restoration.

As for the Super Play issues, I do have the full set myself.
But having a duplicate set of magazine always comes in handy sooner or later due to unforeseen damage or missing sections that I might not know about.

Just like I'll be looking for a new copy of N64 Magazine issue 8 as I just now noticed it has a part cut out of the magazine.  Embarrassed
A secondary copy of issue 7 might need to searched for as well due to quite a bit of damage inside.

No worries, I never quite got the full set of Super play, but I definitely have all the earlier ones up to and including around issue 40. They are in near pristine condition, so if you run into any troublesome pages give me a holler.
I have a couple of others, but they've not had quite the same level of care in keeping. I'll go through the NMS and give you an idea of their quality next time I'm visting my folks. Are there any highly sought after magazines? I have a few here and there, might even have the first issue of Edge somewhere, but that's a maybe.

Everything I'm offering up is free to anyone who will give them a proper digitising on this site, and can be destructively scanned if so desired.
