Ever since buying a 360 a couple of months ago, I've been surprised just how much fun I'm having with it.
Only buying it for a handful of Cave STG games at first, but I'm ending up focussing most of my current gen time on the 360 and really loving the experience.

One thing I never thought I'd do was buy any of the stuff for my avatar, just as how I never even installed Home on my PS3 and never gave it a second though.

But then I discovered the classic Amy Rose body suit and was blown away how well it suits me like a glove. Wink
Throw in a crazy rabbit and I think I've found my perfect match.

Never thought I'd fall in love with this system and it's games as much I did.

Just got Forza 4 today and I more or less knew what to expect since I played Forza 3 a bit as well as the demo of Forza 4.
Never been a fan of sim racers besides F355 Challenge, which I absolutely loved and still do.
But man, this game in simply incredible.
When I bought GT5 on launch I felt that they pretty much nailed the controls and feel of the cars, but there are just so many things that turn me off of the game that in the end I just stopped playing it. Sad
Was very apprehensive of buying another sim ever again, but I got Forza 3 with my system as a pack-in.
So after leaving it shrink-wrapped for over a month I popped it in during a bored weekend.
Was pleasantly surprised just how much fun it was.

Now one thing I have to note is that this game isn't everything it should be when you first pop it in.
It's nice looking and controls great and all, but it's quite boring to drive in it's vanilla form.
The fun, for me at least, comes from disabling all the drive assists besides the ability to rewind.
So no ABS, grip control or whatever driving aids are on. Well besides keeping it on automatic instead of manual. Wink

It literally transforms the game into a little marvel.
Even the crappy tiny cars are fun to drive this way and the sports cars are something else completely!

Found this gen to be quite boring for a while, especially with the Wii releases coming to a crawl as we wait for the WiiU.
But the 360 has really made me look into some things I'd never considered before.

Heck, I just finished Gears of War 1 last Sunday. A game that I never thought would appeal to me.
Had a bit of trouble getting into it though as the first hour or 2 I just wasn't feeling it. But once it clicked, it started to be a lot of fun.
Already started GOW2 and tried Horde Mode which is stupid fun.
Have GOW3 already waiting to be played ones I get enough playtime out of nr.2 and hearing of all the improvements Epic has included makes me want to jump ahead and skip 2, but I won't do that.

Very happy with how this has turned out.  Grin
