Didn't expect this to happen and actually didn't really want it to either.

Not since my last cat passed away over a year ago.
But these ones showed up at my house two days ago as a gift...

If I didn't decide to keep them they would have to go to the shelter and would be put to sleep in 14 days.
So I guess I have 2 new kittens now. Wink

Somehow they already feel very much at home and even though the previous owner said that they were used to the cheapest dry food there is and they shouldn't have anything else, they have already decided that fresh salmon is something they prefer. :p

Those are some cute kittens, Andy.  How are things going over there?

Well, I have been better to be honest.

Been a bit depressed as of late. You know how life goes sometimes...
One thing these two are doing is keeping me occupied, to say the least. Wink

Looks like they were very lucky after all since I just heard that the person who wanted rid of them has today dropped of her other 4 cats at the city shelter, which means that they'll be put to sleep within a week or so. :-/

On the one hand these two can be a handful, as they certainly are hyperactive at times.
But then again, when evening falls they become these cuddly fluffy balls of fur, that just want to snuggle up against me and purr till they fall asleep.

That is the wonderful thing about pets.  They can lift spirits when you are down and out and make you smile when you don't really want to.

Well a little update here.
They certainly feel at home right about now.
Two completely different personalities, but both very sweet girls.
They tear the house down during the daytime, but at night when I'm playing games or watching a movie or series, they always have to  be next to me to either sleep to to have their bellies rubbed. Smiley

Those two look cute and they look like they're growing up pretty quickly.

Also one looks like it's got it's paw on a controller and the other one looks like it's reading a gaming mag (maybe Raze) so I think those two are definitely going to be gamer's  Smiley

They certainly are grown up very quickly. Well at least physically.
They are still little kids in mentality though. Playing, eating, sleeping and playing some more.
Can't begin to explain just how curious they are. They have to see everything I do.

When I brush my teeth or take a shower, they are either on the side of the sink, or sitting right outside the shower waiting for me to get out so they can go investigate.

For instance, I was scanning some OSSM issues today and went into the kitchen to get a snack.
When I come back, I find this:

 Grin

Can be hard to get work done on my laptop as you can see from the first picture.
They always have to see what I'm doing and try to eat my cursor as you can see in the Sega Pro picture. Wink
