Today is Ralph Baer's 90th (!!!) birthday and he is still kicking ideas around and innovating like it was just his 50th. The founders of Out-of-Print Archive were instrumental in arranging an interview with Mr. Baer over at Retromags (
http://www.retromags.com/forums/topic/4535-ralph-baer-the-father-of-videogames-visits-retromags/ for those that don't know this bit of history).
Let's all celebrate some of the great innovations that Ralph (as his friends call him) was instrumental in creating such as interacting with televisions through controllers (if not for this innovation, gamers world wide wouldn't be playing Call of Duty and Super Mario Bros for instance), light gun targeting (couldn't play House of the Dead and other light gun games without this one) and Simon- who remembers that one?
Ralph, from your friends here at Out-of-Print Archive, we wish you a happy 90th birthday and best wishes in your endeavors.
