Firstly I'd like to say thanks to for the work you guys do here.

I thought this may be of interest, it's a partial archive from the Silicon Village online service from 1993. One of the sections is an online console and computer magazine from Europress/Impact called "Forcefield Direct", which was "an electronic facsimile of the four Force magazines". The content seem to be from around April 1993.

This was possibly the first online presence by a British video game magazine publisher. Future publishing launched their website "FutureNet" on September 29, 1994.

Very interesting stuff. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I never saw this back in the day. I knew about Digitser and the like, but never knew that Europress Impact were involved with this kind of telext service.
