I'm still here and doing quite well actually.
I just have a bad case of burnout when it comes to working on video game magazines.
It tends to happen from time to time for a variety of reasons, but this time it got quite bad.
At this point I'm slowly starting to get my interest up again.
If I had a ton more free time, it probably wouldn't be this much of a problem either.
Although I do seem to run into a couple of problems.
Looks like my eyes are starting to give me a bit trouble as of late. Hitting 40 certainly has something to do with this I guess.
After looking at a computer screen for extended amounts of time, my eyes get really tired and even start to hurt and see double.
Having to concentrate really hard to pick up on all those small specs on pages makes this issue pop up even quicker.
Between all the work that has to be done around the house and garden, I picked up a Switch and Zelda alone certainly ate up a lot of time.
Binding of Isaac as well actually.
I also picked up a couple books on Japanese and Korean cinema and directors, which made me pick up quite a few new (old) films.
I just noticed that I put up NGamer issue 5 on April 1st on Twitter but somehow forgot to finish up the index on the catalogue page and put up the news page or forum post for it! Doh!
Guess I got my work cut out for me this afternoon...
