I'm very ahppy that Nintendo is doing so well too. I remeber sometime last year the neighbour across he street from me, who I don't talk to anymore because he's full of BS/compulsive liar, ie. I cannot stand. Thank goodness my brother flipped out at him for lying the last time, lol, cause I'm too nice sometimes... not that I'm not evil myself every now and then, I just got a longer fuse.
Anyways, we were over once and he's like "What videogames you guys play" and we are like "Old videogames, plus we want to get a Wii with Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and maybe Zelda, plus other notable Nintendo and non Niontendo games." He goes "Mario? Nintendo? Why you wanna play that game or get that system? Why don't you get an X-Box?" We are like "How often do you play your X-Box" or something that got us to this question. He replies "Oh, I haven't been playing it lately, it's mostly been siting around collecting dust."
Anyways, long story short, and a Wii very soon afterwards, and he's begging me to borrow the Wii and Mario non-stop after having it for a couple of days every now and then. Say's he's addicted to Mario Galaxy and that even his girlfiend likes to play the Wii. You see, this is the type of gamers that live in my area, gamer that aren't really gamers, that know nothing about real videogames or just videogames in general. But they sure like to talk like their gamers and that they like videogame and that they know everything about it. Yet they keep only mentioning the systems and games that are supposed to cool and don't have a clue about what's really good or how simple it is to go about finding out what's good and bad. It's not that hard, he has the enternet, what's wrong with these people?
These people really upset me and is the cause of what's wrong with the gaming industry today. Anyways , I'm also glad one of the classic gaming companies is still around too.
