Great job with the site!  I'm so happy that you put up 2 issues of ENTER magazine.

Does anyone have the remaining issues of the ENTER run?

Also, does anyone have the issues of 3-2-1 Contact magazine from June 1985 on (which included, for probably 6+ years on, an ENTER section)?  I'm trying to collect all of the old BASIC programs from those magazines but they're tough to find these days.

Thanks, and again, great job with the site!

Thank you. Smiley

They certainly are quite special and even though they more or less defy classification in the current sections of the site, it's always great to be able to put a new issue up.

As for which issues are coming up in the future, that would be best answered by Bablefish since he's responsible for scanning them. Smiley

To be honest, issue 3 should have been up a while ago, but due to a certain computer mishap we have lost our copy of the file.  Embarrassed
Bit I'm sure Bablefish will be happy to get in touch with triverse to send them once more.

Any prospect of getting 3-2-1 Contact up there?  (There was a ZIP file with about 110 page-scans from -2-1 Contact ENTER sections circa 1985-1989 bouncing around the Internet a while back, but they were terribly incomplete.  Skipped 6 months between a lot of issues, for example.  I'd love to find a complete set!)

Also, there's an archive bouncing around now with the following ENTER magazines as fairly high-resolution PDFs.  Any interest?  The issues are: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17.

It really all depends whether a kind soul comes forward and is willing to scan those issues I'm afraid.

As for using scans from other sources which can be found around the net or otherwise, that's a bit of a delicate situation.
You see, we only accept scans from the person who scanned the magazines himself, since that's the only way to make sure the person who put his time and effort into them knows who is using them and in what way.

I'd scan them if I had them but they're tough to come by these days.  Lost mine in the mid-90s during a move!

Welcome to Out-of-Print Archive jbigglesworth, I have the remaining issues of Enter as they were scanned and donated by Bablefish (17 or so issues total).  I am slowly working on getting them edited and ready for release, just takes time.

Terrific!  Do you know anything about the 3-2-1 Contact magazines (with ENTER sections) from after the May 1985 dissolution of ENTER?  Has anyone offered to submit those?

I have never heard of 3-2-1 Enter, though, I am still going through the files that Bablefish sent over, he may have sent this magazine too.  He is around once in awhile so he will hopefully be able to shed some more light on this subject.

Years ago, when I had a box full of 3-2-1 Contact magazines with the ENTER sections inside, I made black & white photocopies of all of the ENTER sections that I had.  I've since scanned them.  Would those be of any use to you?  As I say, they're B&W, but I made the B&W originals back in the early 90s and I scanned them about a year or two ago.

(Not complete magazines, though--I lost those a few years after I made the original copies of the Contact-Enter sections.)

Thanks for the offer jbigglesworth, I will check with the rest of the team but I think that since they are black and white, then scanned from that that they have been changed too much from the original to released here.

Okay I know the 1st 2 issues are posted here. But you don't know how many requests I still get for copies of the scans...even now. So I created an album of these scans on Photobucket.

http://s769.photobucket.com/albums/xx333/magazinedude/Enter%20Magazine/

Not all are up there yet, but I can only upload so many at a time.

Also I wanted to info the admin here, that issues will be deleted on Photobucket once the same ones are up on the main site.

I took it upon myself to add the Enter page on the main site to Wikipedia
