Episode 27 is out.  Things are a little different with this episode.  Everyone had something going on that made recording very difficult.  We did get about 20 minutes in and then added some outtake files to fill out the episode.  I think it turned out good!  Let me know what you guys think.

I have always wondered, why not have someone do a cartoony voice like the one in the cartoon that supplied the first theme song doing those transitions?  Like "Meanwhile at the League Headquarters" leading into news or something.  It would have been classic and unique (no other podcasts really use any kind of transitions-Critical Failure uses music but he is about the only one).

Going to listen to #27 tonight at work, can't wait.

Oh Mr Gimmick, that's one that doesn't come up very often. Smiley

Been awhile since this thread was updated.

Episode 56 - Lumpy Filler

In under 90 minutes we manage to cover - 2D fighters, strange Mario artwork, Final Fantasy III, favorite cheat codes, guys who bring their own pools cues to bars, soiled sleeping bags, BASIC programming, racing games, typewriters, Intellivision collections, and even more. Join us for a very rapid fire, and occasionally lumpy, episode 56 of The Retro League.

TRL #60 brings some interesting tidbits about many things gaming such as a Legend of Zelda rubber ducky (rather scary looking, honestly), some gamers were lucky enough to buy a game with banana’s (guess which one) and TV manufacturer’s are slightly behind on technology-listen and find out just what they dropped the ball on.
