Admittedly I mostly read MMS, but the original was also awesome for its time. Outside "official" game publications, MM and Gamesmaster were my favourites, and CVG a close third.

Your tinypic image isn't working though. I tend to use imagur for hosting pictures.

Sadly I didn't get to read Mean Machines back in the day. The only magazine I had back then was the free Club Nintendo Magazine which was later on followed up by Nintendo Player here.

It was only in early 1993 that I came across a magazine called Joypad in a small specialist game shop where I played the Neo Geo AES for the first time. I still remember that like it was yesterday. Last Resort blew my mind back then. Smiley
Only later on found out about Mean Machines and was surprised to find a magazine with a very familiar feel to Joypad.

I only wish Joypad was in English instead of French so that more people would be able to enjoy it...
My French isn't very good at this point either, yet I'm still thinking of digging out my old copies and scanning them one day.
